Master Fredson Paixao

Fredson Paixao is a four stripe black belt under Grand Master Osvaldo Alves, he is one of only two people to have ever skipped from Purple Belt to Black Belt. He is a 4 time world champion in 1998 (purple belt) in 2001, 2002, and 2005 as black belt. He has also received a silver medal in 2004. He is a 9 time Brazilian National Champion and has trained and competed all over the world. 

He made a move to the world of Mixed Martial Arts in 2004 and has a record of 11 wins and 5 losses and 1 no contest. He has fought for the WEC and the UFC.  

Fredson is an avid teacher and has many affiliations across the United States, Brazil, and Japan. He is well respected in the world of Jiu Jitsu not just for his competition but his teaching and leadership as a coach.
